Lu is a girl in her twenties who opened her own shop to sell preserved flowers in Chengdu, Sichuan province. Lu runs the shop by herself.
Preserved flowers are a technique made by drying flowers. This can keep the flower alive for three to five years.
Lu graduated from college with a major in fine arts. Before she decided to open the business she followed a teacher for a long time to learn the technique.
„The reason I opened the shop is because I enjoy handwork, and read a love story that took place in a flower shop,” Lu said.
The majority of the store’s clients are from the Internet. Lu also sells her products via WeChat.
